On November 20, 2014 Jen was under the impression that Michael was back home in Louisville, KY for the holidays. Instead, he was diligently putting his plan together. Jen and Michael's family were all nearby at a restaurant waiting on the happy couple. Michael thoughtfully rearranged the christmas lights in the front lawn into a giant red heart and spelled out "Marry Me" using candles on the front porch. The doorbell rang and Jen thought she had friends coming by to take her to dinner. To her surprise, Michael was standing among the candles in the lit heart on one knee. She ran out to him...He asked....She said YES :)
