Friends recently traveled to the Paradisus during the holidays and took a cab to and from and had no issues.

Wow, it's only 82 days till our wedding day. I'm sure by now you have reserved your room and purchased airfare. If you are still searching for airfare you've seen how insanely expensive it is and this is why it's best to book early. After the holidays everyone is trying to escape this cold weather and flights reach unbelievable prices.

A few things to keep in mind when packing:

It's May and you probably haven't seen the sun for months...please bring sunblock and use it. The sun there will definitely be hot and you don't want to look like a lobster.

There is a gift shop on the resort that sells whatever you forgot to pack but I am sure it will cost twice as much.

The resort has a lot of restaurants to choose from. For dinner the a la carte restaurants have dress codes. For women: no shorts or flip flops; Men: collared shirt, slacks, no shorts or flip flops. They strictly adhere to this dress code for dinner and will turn you away if you are not properly dressed. 

I've been checking the airfare everyday trying to keep everyone updated on prices and so far it looks like Jetblue is your best bet. They have flights for $228 leaving JFK and returning $258 depending on which day you leave. 

I check kayak, expedia, priceline all those other websites and the resort room rate per night and flying Jetblue is actually cheaper.
